Terms of Service

Welcome to ANMYA Focus. By downloading, installing, or using the ANMYA Focus application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is provided by ANMYA Technologies ("ANMYA", "we", "our", "us").

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

ANMYA Focus is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (often 18, or 16 in parts of the EU and UK), you confirm that, where your local law requires it, a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, and that you are using the App for your own personal digital wellbeing.

2. What ANMYA Focus Does

ANMYA Focus is a personal digital-wellbeing tool that helps you:

Run focus sessions and track streaks, goals and trends.
Block distracting apps and short-form video (Shorts, Reels) using Android's Accessibility Service.
Set a late-hours "Night Guard" that blocks distractions during a window you choose.
Apply always-on YouTube and music content filters.
Check in with an optional AI coach.

ANMYA Focus acts on your own device, for your own wellbeing. It is not a monitoring or surveillance tool and must not be used to monitor anyone else. The optional Circle feature lets you connect a consenting accountability buddy; it shares only the limited signals described in our Privacy Policy, and either person can disconnect at any time.

3. Your Account

You can use the App as a guest. Some cloud features require an account.
If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
Use the App to monitor, surveil, or restrict another person without their knowledge and consent.
Interfere with, disable, or attempt to circumvent the security or integrity of the App.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App, except where permitted by law.

5. The Accessibility Service

ANMYA Focus uses Android's Accessibility Service solely to power on-device blocking, exactly as described in our Privacy Policy. Text read by the service is used in memory for a single allow/block decision and then discarded. There is no keystroke logging, no off-device upload of accessibility content, and no remote analytics. You may turn it off at any time in your device settings.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

ANMYA Focus is free to download and use. Some features ("PRO") may require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account settings.
Refunds are handled according to Google Play's policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App — including its design, code, logos, and content — is owned by ANMYA and protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blocking will catch every distraction in every situation. Device-level factors (such as OEM battery optimization or disabling the Accessibility Service) can affect blocking reliability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANMYA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time via Settings → Privacy → Forget me or the account deletion page.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
